iam wonderin the name of this bushing or whatever it is..
the front drivers side is completly cracked/smashed and i think it leak'd grease out...
and itmakes a horrible little squeak noise...

how hard is itto replace these and wouldi need any special tools...any advice would be great

your picture isn't very easy to see. I want to say it's like the top spring seat. If you could take your tire off, and get a picture with more light it would be alot easier.

 

that looks too small to be a spring. is it on the strutt? its been awhile since ive taken that apart so my memory is rusty. but kid is right, the pic is kinda crappy

 

front woulld be a strut. And you're right it is to small to be a springl

i was hopeing someone whould know just from the location...
i think its is my front controle arm and it's at the top where it mounts

 

I think it looks like the upper contoll arm bushing assuming i am seeing this from the angle i think i am.
