fuel pump question

My fuel pump went out on my 2000 camaro V6, will a fuel pump out of a 02 SS work? I'm pretty sure they're the same correct?

Go to a parts store, or to a on-line supplier, such as Rock Auto, and check the part number for both cars, if they are the same they are interchangeable.
