fuel pressure regulator
I have posted on this before, my camaro will not start on the first key turn, I have to wait for the alarms to go off and then turn key back to off and then start. I have an SES light. I was told that the fuel pressure regulator is the problem, can it be just taken off or do I have to remove the entire fuel rail, as always thanks for the help.......SFC

RE: fuel pressure regulator
First get the car scanned and fix the SES problem. You should do a fuel pump and regulator test, as what you describe appears to be that FI system is not retaining pressure when the engine is turned off. This could be due to a bad check valve in the fuel pump, a bad pessure regulator, one or more leaky injectors, or even an external fuel leak (fire danger).

RE: fuel pressure regulator

RE: fuel pressure regulator
The fuel pressure regulator has to be replaced entirely. My car did the same thing, ended up around 350$.
