A cutout for what? Not for open headers.

On a V6....Its like giving your grandmother a boob job, pointless. Unless you are going to be running it at the track, an are pushing crazy horse power, its silly.

A cut out is so you open your exhaust keeping it from flowing through the tail pipes and out the mufflers. Its going to be loud, Super loud, annoying and retarted. The reason guys run open headers is for better flow of exhaust. And the guys who do it usually are running v8's and are race worthy cars. You know 1/4 mile cars. If you drive around town like that you are asking for trouble and a headache. Oh ya carbonmonoxide is always a great thing also.

pacesetter headers suck...i have them on my 1995 3.4L and they completly suck... I have a exhaust leak because you need to drill a hole in the header for the AIR system., And i guess you need that for inspection. Im really pissed about them. I suggest dont do headers from them

I am not sure about the rest of the nation, but in IL, 1995 and older cars are now emissions-exempt (i.e. all OBD 1.x cars)...

So the issue you reference is a non-issue here re: inspection, etc.

I think Pacesetter headers are the only option for say a '95 3.4L, correct?

agree w/ chappie99. Pointless if your camaro is for everyday use.

Flowmasters dont sound to good on the v6 camaros, but thats just my two cents, and if you really think cutouts would be nice, go take just the muffler off your car, start it, and rev it a little. It aint pretty. By the way SLP FTW!!

I took the muff of my car just to see how it sounded...Wanted to burp, puke and fart all at the same time. Instead, I just put the muff back on.
