Default EBCM ..HELP!?!

I was on my way to school thursday when i went to come to a stop and my brake pedal went to the floor. so i swerved missing the car stopped in front of me and yanked the e brake. I had it towed to my local shop not wanting to drive it incase my brakes acted up again. They said i needed a new EBCM.. so they got on the horn to try and find me one.. the only they could find is one from GM brand new.. and its costs $900. Im going to college and with tuition, books, insurance etc etc i barely have enough for gas even though i work. Can anyone help with any sites that repair EBCM's or know of any site that i might be able to find them for cheaper than the dealer.. I looked but came up short. Thanks and sorry for the long post.

Same thing, Electronic Brake Control Module (ABS + TCS). Get the right model, somwhere along the line Gm switched from Delco to Bosch.
