Default dtc 36 (24x signal) please help

93 3.4 auto that i can't seems to pinpoint this code that keeps coming back,,idles fine stumbles on acceleration and casual driving, seems like its flooding to me,but when it starts stumbling and backfiring i can floor it and it will take off like it should,,already replaced everything i know to,,map sensor ,crank and cam sensor, temp sensor, tps sensor,o2 sensor, different ignition module and coil packs, different ecm,egr valve, new plugs and wires, new fuel filter, fuel pressure is at 40psi ,pulled vacuum hose off regulator and pressure increases to 45psi like it should,,i guess what i'm asking is will someone point me in the direction to go next,,whats left to check ??

as you know ..dtc 36(24 x signal)usually is crankshaft position signal.possibly a broken wire,bad connection,dirty,greasy etc.check all connections if you have replaced it.plugged cat?egr?low compression?burnt valve?massive vacuum leak?

it's always possible.another free check is to clean the idle air control (iac) valve.

DCT 36 means that the PCM does not see a good signal from the High Res Crank Position Sensor. This is the sensor in the middle of the block. In your application, the high res sensor is used to more accurately control spark timing up to 2400 RPM. If the signal is non existent, or poor, the PCM ignores this sensor and used the low res sensor for timing. This could cause the engine to run poorly at low RPM. A bad injector could cause bad running, but it will not set a DTC 36. As previously advised check all wiring and connectors from the sensor to the PCM.

i think i have found my problem hopefully,,after checking plugs and wires about 50 times and running car at dark to see if any arcing, nothing,,but i just saw that running it at dark at idle i see nothing,,but,i chocked the wheels set parking brake and gave it throttle at the tb to put it under a load i see sparks a flying all around the #4 plug,,,it was a hairline crack in the plug insulator that wouldn't show until you loaded it up

Camshaft Position Sensor should be replaced, if you still get the code.

This problem seems fairly common lately in the 3.4L Camaros...
