Exclamation Driving with cat converter open....

My cat converter needs to be welded shut and is cut open open on the top. If i drove about 15 miles to get this little problem of mine fixed could it damage my engine???? Someone told me it could suck a valve through....

Not only will it suck a valve through, but it will turn your entire engine inside-out and blow the internals out the exhaust pipe!
Just kidding...no, it won't hurt the engine at all. If the original heat shield is gone though, you may want to wire up a piece of tin and cover the opening to keep it from blowing hot air directly onto the floorboard.

Lol your valves aren't going anywhere. As Camaro 69 said, just make sure the heat shield is still there to make sure you don't burn up the floorboard
