don't even know
for a while now when i drive my "maro for the first time of the day it jerks as its trying to shift (automatic) i checked the fluid which was fine. the other day i was going down the highway when it started doing it out of no where and the car wouldn't go past 70, and the check engine light started blinking.
i think its the tranny but thats about as far as my expertiese goes, anyone else got 2 cents

A blinking check engine light is an indicator of a misfiring cylinder. The blinking light is warning you that continued operation could damage the catalyst. Have Autozone, Advance, or whoever scan for codes asap. Could be as simple as a burned ignition cable, fouled plug, etc. Don't let it go.
