There wasn't an RS package offered with the 3.4.

Right, the first 4th gen RS was in 96, with the 3.8. No such thing as a 3.4 RS model.
I've seen dealers advertise pre-96 3.4 models as an RS. That just means they don't know their azz from a hole in the ground.

Right, no RS 3.4Ls, but one cool thing about the older models was the availability of the two-tone color scheme on the V6, which I believe was reserved for the V8s in later years. i.e. white with black top... I love that look...
