Default curse my stupidity

So yesterday in my 97 3.8 camaro I mad a sharp left turn and slid the back end around a little at 40mph or so after I straightened out I slightly let off the gas allowing the car to shift it shifted fine then began making a horrible grinding noise I hit the gas noise went away parked car for an hour couldn't get it to replicate noise any idea

It would help if you describe the noise, where you think it is coming from, motor, tranny, brakes or radio!

I had a 94 z28, and one time I went over some railroad tracks, just following traffic, nothing wreckless or anything and it felt like the entire rear end of my car was vibrating. It shook the whole car, I pulled over and looked around, did not see anything odd, and drove off, it never did it again. But that was really weird.

Haha sorry felt like it was coming from driveshaft or rear differential

Possible univeral joint dry or could have gotten alittle twisted up and took a few seconds to get all aligned back up.
