yep the ignition needs that fuse to work. gotta find that issue. 95 is a obd1 with a obd2 plug. obd2 scanner will not show codes. im sure the zone man was not aware of this. you can adapt a obd1 scanner (not a code reader) to work for ya. number 24 on the list here 4th Gen LT1 F-Body Tech Aids

I believe Craby is talking about the ignition system, not the ignition switch. Doing a VATS bypass is not going to fix the fuse blowing problem.

yes pete thank you. been fishin all day. you need to find out what is causing the fuse to fail. could be a wire is bare and grounding to the frame or other metal body part. here is a little info on the ignition, track the wires and look for any damaged wires or plugs.

get the ohm/volt meter out and check the wires from the ignition fuse and see if you can find one thats grounded.

There is very little chance this is an ignition switch. You really need to either take it to someone who knows what he is doing or you need up read a learn how the circuit works. The ignition fuse power your ignition system in your car. You ignition switch suppies power to the fuse. If the switch failed you would have no power to the fuse. Since the fuse is down stream there is no way the switch could cause this.
