3800 sheet metal intake
hey guys i was talking to my master tech at work and we were discussing intakes, then we were looking at my was once l67 in a camaro and he took the supercharger off and suggested getting a sheet metal intake made. we looked at stattama and actually found one but im bot paying 500 for it...ill make my own and have a PCV. we make a cardboard very crude mock up with a N* tb and actually it looks good. the one part i dont like is that you have to run a L67 LIM.which means custom t stat housing, relocating coils, new fuel rails(probably thrasher) and L67 heads....if i do go this way im curious what power gains it will yield. im debating on which headers to go with, if i do this intake believe me there will be some giggle gas involved and a wet shot too.(know where to pool up) then im gonna go with FFF's headers. if not im gonna run pacesetters. both ways im gonna run true duals. any thoughts?

If you are talking 18 gage sheet metal bolted right to the intake you have better take into account it growth due to heat. Those weld will tend to crack. You should step it up to like 3/32" or 1/8" steel plate.
