First of all you need to determine if the crank journals need a regrind, then in ant case the journal have to be measured to get the right size bearings that will provide the proper clearance. If you have a perfect crank, and you plan to drive sensibly, then you can go with just about any type bearing of the proper size, otherwise pay the extra money and get a good set of trimetal bearings. If the rod bearings are shot, then the mains won't be far behind, so change them all.
