Default Coil packs keep going out

So every time it rains or I was h my car I have a coil pack go out. after the first one there is a warranty, but still, I'm sick of getting a misfire at the price of having a clean car. I haven't found any holes that cause water to drip on them or anything like that. anyone got any ideas?

Do you see any crack in them or are they all internal issues?

Try a different brand. I have heard several people say that some of those they buy at the chain parts stores have been bad out of the box. I have bought 3 from these same stores but never had an issue with them.

I guess that's a possibility. like when I put my foot down already it misses a little, and I just replaced a coil pack yesterday. I'm waiting on it to throw the SES light again so I can see if its the one old one that's left. I doubt it though, its always #5.

Stop washing your coil packs then! Put a plastic bag over them (alternator too) if you are spraying into the engine bay.

Are you sure there is not a problem with the injector or wire?

I'm not spraying into the engine bay, I hit that with engine brite about once every 6 months and everything is always sufficiently covered.
