Default chugging problem

Well i have a 95 v6 3.4l and i have this really annoying problem. At first it would just chug at a low idle but now it does all the time, I dont know why it would be doing this. it started doing it a couple weeks ago after i had it out in the really big rain storm so i dont know if the storm had something to do with it. someone told me they think its the spark plugs because you can smell gas fumes. Anyone got an idea?

Default RE: chugging problem

I am not too sure as to what you mean by chugging, steam engines used to chug, but it is something new about car engines. Never the less, if the engine is running rough, the firts thing to do is to replace the spark plugs and then the spark plug wires, especually if you can smell unburnt fuel. If this doesn't help, check the coil packs and the ignition module located under the coil packs.
