Changing window motors
#2
I changed both of mine last fall. They weren't to bad to change just take your time and have a magnet handy in case you drop the little screw and nuts. There is a write up here somewhere with detailed pics of how to do it. If I find it, I'll post it. Welcome to the forum

Cool thanks :]
I got the door panel off, and i saw a video on how to get the motor out and they suggest drilling a hole through the door frame, so that you can access the motor and drill out the "screw-like-things" that hold it in, I wasnt sure if thats a good or bad idea.

Yes, just go ahead and drill right through the door frame. You can cover the holes when you are done. Be sure to clamp the regulator in place or support the window with tape to make sure it does not come down on you once the motor is out.
