Default Changing Spark Plugs

Ok this will be my first time changing the plugs in my 99 camaro. I looked under the hood and it looks like I cant change them from there, so I jacked the front end up, and looked under the front right side and I can see the 2 plugs in the back, and the front one dont look like I can reach it from underneath. So what tools will I need ? and what is the best way to change these plugs? THanks

check it out, scroll to the bottom, where it says search term, type spark plugs, i've found a lot of information there rather than waiting for someone to reply

you put the socket on the plug then use an open box wrench to losen the plug. it can be done.

I was reading on one site that it recommends to drop the y-pipe down and it should allow you relatively easy access to the plugs. Some may still pose a few problems though.

I don't believe all this &$%@!! about changing plugs! Just get a Snap-On or equivelent plug socket that has a ball universal joint, a 1" entension and a mirror if you can't work by touch. Took me less then 40 min last time FROM THE TOP! And that included applying never-seize and dropping #4 plug 3 times.

As they say on TV .... JUST DO IT!

did it on my friend's, easiest if you just get the car in the air, change the ones you can get at that way, and pull the front wheels for the rest. took us about an hour last time we did it.
