RE: car stalling

well...there could be a number of things...
1-your fuel filter may need changing ( When was your last tune-up?)
2-your spark plugs may also need changing
3-Your cat maybe clogged
4-You may have bad gas
5-your fuel injectors maybe dirty
Does your check engine lite come on?
And since you said your engine was cleaned it could be a loose wire somewhere or water got somewhere it wasn't supposed to when they were cleaning the motor

RE: car stalling

a few months back several of us on here had a similar problem. I ran through all the possible problems starting with the cheapest fix first. ie fuel filter, coils, etc. It was found to be the CPS(crank shaft postioning sensor). Mine started to act up around the same mileage. the car was a 1997 3800 v6 camaro. A few others on here found it to be their cps as well. If all else fails check the CPS.

RE: car stalling

Do you mean a dead stall? Like completely fall on its face or does it feel like theres just a small drop in power? When I accel, I get this small, very small, stall and it happens like 3 times thought the RPM range. Only under normal throttling. If I go easy, its fine, and if I go wide open, its fine. I know that my cat is broken cause I smashed it on a speed bump (oops). Not sure if thats the problem but I know I need to change my fuel filter too.
