I have a 1996 v6 Camaro that normally runs great, but every once in a while I will go to start it and it cranks over but will not start. My OBDII code reader will pull up the code for crank position sensor, but I can clear the code and it still won't start, any suggestions?

 

Clearing the code does not fix a thing, You need to put in a new sensor, and then the car will start. Right now the PCM has no idea of which plug it should fire, so it fires none.
