Default Camaro missing in higher RPM

I bought a 96 Camaro RS about two months ago that has 101,000 miles on it which is misfiring in the higher RPM range usually under acceleration above 65 mph. The service engine light told me there was a misfire in cylinder 1, so I pulled the plug and it seems that the previous owner did a tune up not to long ago.

This is an Autolite Double Platinum APP605

My question is...What could be causing the misfire?

Plug, Wire, Coil, ICM, assorted harnesses, Bad head gasket, bad fuel injector, Low comperssion, I am sure I am missing some.

I would be worried about the rust on that plug.

I read that the red color is from fuel additives. Ill have to do more research on spark plugs. I can only hope its not something real serious! Ill check the wires and coil tomorrow, and definately have to change those plugs to an Iridium.

Does your car still have the orange/brown coolant in it? I would do a pressure test of the coolant system. There is no good way to check a plug wire or coil that works "spmetimes" it will pass every test. You would need a scope to check it. Try moving the coil pack and the wire and see if the issue stays at the cylinder or follows the parts.

May want to do a search this hace been cover many times.
