Default Camaro just completely shuts off!!!!

So i have a 96 Camaro, 3.8 v6
So the car completely shuts down on me. It has happened twice. While i was riding the car just seems to die, no emergency lights, no stutter of the engine, no dash board lights, everything completely shuts off. Then when i try to turn it back on nothing happens! The last two times i had to remove the starter and leave it out for a couple of minutes, place it back in, in order for the car to start but i dont think the starter has anything to do with the problem (ive replaced it about 3 weeks ago and have had it checked). Does anybody know why this could happen???

Sounds like the crank positioning sensor is failing. Check the wiring in between. It can easily get pinched. Also check your ignition control module.

I am putting my $$$ on the ICM or the CKS. Both can cause the engine to just shut off and if they fail abruptly the computer will not know to throw a code your way. Heat can cause the sudden failure in both parts as can vibrations.

Can it be the cks that turns off all the electrical system???
The headlights, tailights, dashboard lights, emergency lights all turned off

Yes, it just randomly lost all of the power,i want going so fast either 60 mph, just cruising. I was on the freeway and had to let the cars momentum to get me out of there to the service road. I tried to crank up the engine but nothing was on, everything was cut off. So i jacked up the car and removed the starter and battery cables and re attached them 20 min later. and it worked perfectly.

No aftermarket security, just the chip on my key

Trace battery wiring. Starter seems unrelated. Test battery at a local parts store.
