Hey bud, i'm 16 too. I have a 94. I would tell ya to get a 92 with a good body and re-do the engine with an edlebrock performer rpm kit. That would be awesome. Hey, good luck. Girls love the camaro, they're all sexy!

You may have better luck loking for an 82-92. You should be able to find a cheap one and a motor swap may be easier and cost less. But you may want to choose which body style you want. as the 93-02 are different.

Yea, if ur gonna do an engine swap, get an 82-92 camaro. The engines on the 93-02 are a nightmare. You have to pull it and the whole front end out from underneath by liftint the body up. IF you get a 90 or so good bodyfor like 2000 maybe 2500

I bought my 91 a couple of years ago for 2500. Its a RS 305 TBI. Lots of miles but one adult owner who took care of it. My brother got a 90 RS V6 for $500 from a tow yard. Check the tow yards for lein sales. Buy a V6 car if you dont mind swaping trannys and a few other parts to do a V8.

If ur looking for a car to work on DONT get a 93-2002. They are very hard to work on. Too much involving the computer. Plus they are very labor intensive. I have a 2000 V6 and i cant even change my yellow running light without removing the entire front end of my car. Better let the pros work on thoes ones. So go with an early 80s to an early 90s.

i got a 1996 Camaro RS w/Y87 3800 V6, Black, T-Tops, GFX for $2,700...but i got a deal
RECOMENDATIONS:
1996-2002 Camaro w/ 3800 (if your looking for power don't get any other v6, and the 3.8 has more hp than almost all other stock v8 80's camaro)
or if you don't mind high insurance, get any Z28 w/ lt1 or ls1...but on your budget i'd go for a 3.8 powered car, or if you can find a 80's maro w/ a V8 that's not a 305, take it
