How about a curb at the street to ramp one side of the car up onto then.

No curb's but I can drive it off the side of the driveway, with each side of the car on the side's of the ditch in my yard. That would work.

Or, you could dig a hole in the yard and make a grease pit.

OK with having shield off the tranny, and driving the car over the ditch, I was about to get a better look at it, I can see it coming from the plug where the distributor would go this is where it is leaking the most from but it is also leaking from the rear main seal but not as bad.

that should be the oil pump drive. should be the same gasket as the old style distributor has. tourqe spec for the drive clamp bolt is 25 ft lbs. when you changed the intake gasket did you do the lower intake?

correct me if I'm wrong, but I never known the oil pump drive shaft to have a gasket. unless your refering to the rubber o ring that slips in first groove. that's what I changed when I replaced my oil pump. it was just the clamp bolted bolted on top and a lot of built up dirt with the rubber o ring inside on the shaft.
