Default Alternator Problem

I have a 1996 camaro with the 3800 series engine and I thought the only problem was the alternator, but I might be wrong. The wire connected to the alternator, the small red one with the plug at the end, is cut. I cannot see where it is and I have no idea where it is supposed to go in order to find it. Could anyone help or post some pictures so I can see where to look.

mine has 4 wires that come out of the alternator and it all goes into one wire and that runs down and plugs in on top right behind the AC pulley

It was plugged in and it fits but I just saw one wire coming out of the 4 slot connector. Could you take some pictures of yours and where it goes?

If your fine with sending picture messages I can give you my number in a PM and you could send them to me. You have the same 3800 series engine? I looked at 3.4s at my local junk yard to try and find out where it went and they also only had one wire, but they were wired differently than mine.
