Default Are all the mods worht it?

I've saved up some money and i might as well spend it on the Camaro. I have a 2000 5 speed. I was thinking about doing exhaust: probably headers, high flow cat, and Magnaflow. I had Flowmaster but it got all ****ty so i took it off. I don't want to sound like a civic, so should i do Flowmaster or Magnaflow? is Borla worth all that money? I also probably want the "quietest" aftermarket exhaust I can get, unless one of those sounds real good even though its loud. Also wondering about intakes: should i go with the k&n cold air or get a new air box? I'm also thinking about a power programmer: do they really add much hp? And whats the deal with those Hurst short thorw shifters? Do they do much?
And I want to know if this stuff makes a noticable difference when i run through the gears...i know they all probably help some, so I'm assuming that if i do em all, ill notice some more get up and go.
What do you guys think?
Any other suggestions?

Start with the easiest mods -- get the SLP CAI & mesh filter (SLP also sells a better one than K&N), Whisper Lid. You will notice a boost when you install those. As for the exhaust -- I am in the market myself -- not sure what to get yet -- leaning towards Borla.

I haven't seen any headers I like yet, if FFF ever gets their V6 long-tubes made in the US I would be interested... I'm not sure if the programmers and delete the rear O2 sensors on the V6s when doing a cat-delete -- anyone know which will? Otherwise high-flow cats will help too.
