After the Airbags
I am hoping that someone can help me. I bought a 95 Camaro that the airbags had deployed on. It sat in a garage since 03. I have removed the airbags and am picking up some on Tuesday. What all do I have to do to get it running. I am guessing that when the airbags went off it shut down the fuel pump. Is there a reset switch or will it reset after replacing the airbags. Can someone help, what do I have to do to get it running?

Is the engine turning over and just not starting, or not turning over at all? What you're describing is an inertia switch that cuts off power to the fuel pump in a crash. Fords have those, Chevy's don't.
And your air bags aren't the problem, a car will drive fine with the air bags out, it just won't crash as well. Reinstalling them after a crash is optional, unless your state has a strict law about it. You need to check all your wiring connections, fuses, and relays. Something got jacked from the crash.

Its ALIVE !!!!! Thanks for the info. It was acting like it was not get any gas. I picked up a new battery on the way home, went through checking connections and fuses. One of them must have been loose. A few pumps of the gas and she fired up. I am still going to put the airbags in, hopefully I will not have to test them. I put a fender and a hood on this weekend. Now I just need a front bumper.
Thanks again.
