Best thing to do is get a reader that can read what's going on with all your sensors. My car was doing that and it ended up being Maf. But it could be anything From ignition module to spark plugs. Or even fuel injectors needing a cleaning.

At 110-115 you are getting up on the speed limiter, and cutting out is normal. as far as the engine cutting out at a certain RPM it could be the coils failing and cant refresh fast enough or the ICM is unable to trigger the coils fast enough, MAF or MAP issues. I have even seen the plug wires fail at high RPM and work fine at lower RPMs. Remember that the V6 coils packs fire 2X per each revolution so if you are spinning at 2000 RPMs the coils are firing at 4000 PPM.

Shouldn't be jerking at the speed limit. Should just stop it from accelerating any higher. I know my car just stays at the speed limit nice and smoothly.

They can jerk a little since the speed limiter disables the fuel supply to the cylinders to limit the speed. This essentually is a missfire and it can cause shaking, studdering, shuddering... fill in the adjective of your choice here.

Is that a double post or did you repeat yourself. I was trying to explain how the speed limiter can cause jerking. I have not hit mine on Sarah but I have on other cars and it feels like a miss when I get there. Just what I have experienced...

Yup, sounds like the governor to me! I'm glad I don't have one on my 95!

no ive hit the governer before it just drops the front end and picks right back up.and repeat... this is more like a quick miss, like its picking up fine and then, really bad jeaking and jumping like its missing horribly, i have already replaces 2 coils and it has been running fine. also i noticeced today that when you put it to the floor it does the same thing. but not as bad. it still picks up speed just not as fast and the rpms fluxuate about 2-300 and seems to lag. i havnt had this problem in any of my cars before so its blowing my mind!!!
