97 v-6 3.8 will not run
I have a 97 3.8 that will not run. At first it had no fuel pressure so I changed fuel pump and now have pressure. I could get it to idle roughly so I changed plugs and wires. I then changed the coil packs and it ran like new for about 10 miles and quit. I hooked it up to the computer and it would not throw any codes so I changed the ecm. Now after changing the cam,and crank sensor I can not even get it to run. Any ideas

Check Injectors..
You need to get yourself a volt meter to check the resistance in each injector. Take the connector off the injector, put your red and black lead on the two metal prongs, not sure what to set your meter too but you should be getting a reading around 12.3. If you have a manual it should be in there. I have done this a few times with my cars to ensure that my injectors were/are good.
I know in the past I have had to suck the egg if you will and just replace the pump, in the tank. I would like to thank the engineers who designed the Camaro. They totally thought, why not make this car hard to work on and have no access to the pump. In my 1998 Grand Prix and in my 1999 Buick Regal LS there is an access panel in the trunk to get to the fuel pump, how neat is that? I have seen a few owners make their own access panel to get to the pump, but I prefer not to cut my car with the tank right there and sparks flying. My luck, it catches on fire and kills me.

checking resistance tells you if the injector has the ability to fire. it does not tell you if the injector fires when told to and how much the injector is flowing. a good injector shop can clean and flow test injectors for cheap.

No I did not program the ecu. it was used out of a same year camaro with the same engine (3.8) with 90000 miles on it. I have been told that only 2000 yr models and above have to be programmed. I do not no if the vats are compatible as I have little knowledge of vehicles with all these sensors on them.
