Hey guys, i know iam in the wrong forum because i have a v8 now but, i did have a v6 for a long time and you guys are all pretty smart and seeing as this is electrical it doesn't matter what motor i have. My 98 came factory with a 12 disc cd changer in the trunk, i had to get one from our local wrecking yard out of a 99 Cadillac and it fits perfectly, iam assuming its the right one cause the original wires hook right in. The problem is the orignial stereo is gone, and now iam going to an aftermarket stereo, i plan on using a Pioneer DEH-P77DH 1.5" DIN cause it will fit in nicely and i have had good luck with these previously. My question is will the original cd changer hook right up to the new cd player or will i have to get an adapter of some sort to wire it in? I know i can get an adapter for the cd player part but anyone know about that changer?
