97 camaro?

Default 97 camaro?

i have a 30th anniversary 97 camaro 3800 seires with 166,000 miles on it should i rebuild now or wait. and also advise on basic bolt ons for decent hp incresse.

It really depends on how its been treated. I would do a basic at the very least. Oil and air filters, new oil, check all other fluids. New plugs and wires. Once that is done you will have a good idea if anything else is wrong.
As far as bolt ons... do a search of this site and check out the generation section for some stickies.

iv'e taken very good care of it i got it about a yea ago and since then iv'e changed plugs and wires,iv'e been changing the oil about every 2,000 miles,i mean this is my first time dealing with a camaro and i know enough about it to do basic maint.but as far as pullin power out of it im not sure what to do,so do u think its good or should i think about rebuilding it

How does it run? No sense in rebuilding it, if it still runs fine. Do you know much about it's previous owners and how well it was maintained?

Dont fix it if it isnt brokern, and about the mods, no single mod will give you a huge hp increase. Headers is where most people start, and is going to be the single most noticable mod without going inside the engine. Only reason is the 97 has log style exhaust manifolds, anything is better than those lol. Otherwise, there are a couple of stickies at the top of the v6 section on modding.....
