iam about to buy a 96 camaro rs an i was wondering if there is any way to get HID's in the head lights car is ready for the 98 conversion but i just need the hood an fenders an head lights but i dnt like the newer style an cant find parts but i can get a 96 front clip an i wanna no if there is any way to HID the lights would lover to HID them

Yes. You can just twist the old lights out of the housing and install the HIDs like you would on any other car. Though you will need some sealant to keep the lights in the housing.9006 for the lows, and 9005 for the highs. There is also a website that sells just the housing w/o a bulb in it, if you want to go that route.

The free modification twisting the bulbs out works fine, though...

 

I recommend only doing the low beams I have HIDs on Highs and lows and the highs take a while to warm up. You won't get very much light while they are warming up.
