Cool 3.4l Camaro Build

Some people just get headers and an air intake from K&N well i wanna take it to the next level. So when the next paycheck comes im gunna just rebuild the whole motor. Lots of people are like dont build a v6 but i say screw that. Why not build one and show everyone what i did. I mean i have plans for this thing. Its like the kid on Youtube who did the 3.8 turbo( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZpBaLej9tE&feature=channel ) I mean you see all the ls1/lt1 camaros around and everyone is lookn at the 3.8!!! so yea hopefully this is the complete list im going to try and get. (not all at once) lol

How much power would that give my car?

And also can anyone suggest any other power adders?

1. There are many 3.8 turbos.

2. What all do you plan on doing on this rebuild? What performance mods? I hope you have a deep pocket.

3. I know just the guy you should talk to before you head into building a 3400... Shoot me a PM if you can.

EDIT: Out of all the things you posted, the fuel filter, pistons, and pushrods will do nothing lol. If you want a REAL engine build, talk to Musicman or Gorn. Or I can direct you to a guy who knows 3.4 specifics. Or I can help you out myself... Just shoot me a PM.

The pushrods are replacing my old ones when i put in the cam i think one of mine are bent as of right now...its makn a ticking while its cold. The fuel filter says high flowing so i assumed its better than stock and the pistons are for when i bore my block.

The ticking noise is the lifter either due to age, dirt or low oil pressure. A bent push will only happen in a stck motor due to some other failure, Stuck vake, broke timeing chain, jammed up rocker. I would doubt the motor I heard run in your video has a bent push rod.

Since you are replacing the pistons anyway a head upgrade would be a good idea. Have you seen this post?

Try a high-flow cat to compliment your exhaust which I assume is a cat-back? Then you can look at some headers. I would start there first before going crazy with anything more extravagant.

Then, here are some goodies:

I got plenty of ideas for ya buddy just gotta know what you wanna do. I could help you make a 12 second V6 but that takes some bank. Your biggest obstacle is the 3400 SFI... They're junk. But you can make something out of em if you know what to do and who to talk to. And I know just the right fella to talk to heh.

Do you have a U-pull it yard around you? Even with the intake that $50 worth of parts. If you do not upgrade your stock heads your above mods will net you about 20HP. As I said the CAM may reduce your power. Your heads in their stock form are holding you back right now. Making everything else better will not give you much. It like going from 2.5" exhaust to a 3" exhaust on a car with stock manifold and cat. Sure you may hear a change but your car will be no faster for it.
