ok so since my parents wont let me get a new car i wanna upgrade my 3.4
can i put a z28 camshaft in it?
the lifters and heads are new so i just need the camshaft
where can i get good lower rearend gears from?
does a 3400 impala engine bolt up to my trasmission? because if so i could take it to a engine place and just get a newer impala 3400 engine

Z28 cam - No. It has sixteen lobes whereas yours has twelve. Not to mention it's for a V8.
Rear gears - Any performance website
3400 engine - won't bolt up I believe, but I was thinking you could swap out the top end on them with yours. Look up "3.4 camaro top end swap", and you'll see some things. It entails heads and intake manifold.

As Loren said, the transverse engines used in front drive cars do not have mounting provisions for installing them in rear drive cars. You can use the top(heads & intake)of the transverse engine but not the block or camshaft.

Yes, I would have it dyno-tuned. While mail order tunes are good, it's best to have someone who is seeing how your car runs, to tune it. If I remember right, swapping out the heads and manifold is going to raise the compression ratio, hence the need for tuning.
