3.4 question
Hi guys I'm back in the Camaro game . I have a question as I begin tuning up my 3.4. 1994 model. As I prepare to order the parts, should I replace just the coil packs or the module as well? 98,000 original miles, has a slight miss. Thanks in advance!!

I'd probably just do pugs and wires and see if it doesn't run fine.
I did just that on my '99 Silverado 5.3 pickup recently at 225,000 miles and it runs great now.
Found a kit online with plugs and wires for just $60.

Yea those are not really replacement Items unless you have already tracked down an issue. Plug and wires are maintenance. In most cases when a coil fails it is because the plug wires built up resistance over time.
No check engine light with the miss? I am not sure if its 1996 up but the computer normally stores misses per cylinder. A cylinder will record miss but only set a check engine light once the amount of times for a miss goes over a certain number. The nice part of this is you can see the miss in real time as the computer keeps count. Then just swap coil position and see if the miss follows the coil packs. You can also swap injectors and look to see if the misses follow the injector.
