Default 3.4 to 350 upgrade??

ok guys here is what i have, i have a 1994 3,4 v6 five speed manual camaro with 83000 original miles, no t-tops or sunroof. i have the oppertunity to purchase a carburated 350 with either a 5 speed or 6 speed, not sure, im planning on working this 350 before putting it in my car. my questions to you guys are how much work is needed for this swap i mean is it worth it? i know i need to upgrade the front suspension, new motor mounts, and thats all i know from talkin around. i mean do i need a new rear? would it be worth it to go pozi? do i need a new drive shaft? whats else do i need to do? any help you can give me is greatly appreciated

This is a bad swap. A carburated 350 will not fit under the hood or cowling of a 4th gen car. The only V8 that would fit in your car without body surgery would be a LT1 or LT4. The LS1 will fit, but with more work, and you are going to run into elecrical difficulties.

while we are talkin about it, i seem to be running on 4 maybe 5 at most cylinders on the stock 3.4, no idea what the deal is. my other question is would it be cheaper and worth it to start moding the hell our of the 3.4? im talkin a stroker kit if i can find it, cam, pulleys, headers, pistons port and polish, you know all the goodies? just askin for opinions and doin a little research before i dive into this and ruin a perfect frame and body. because the engine is my only issue. frame and body are in spectacular condition.

Check the injector harness and be sure it's plugged in.

My friend once sold a 3.4L convertible that had been running on 3 injectors, but no CEL showed up...

As for a carb 350, well, most 350s until the LT1 were not worth much. Honest. All the heads flowed like crap, which is the starting point to performance.

I would use 3400 (FWD) v6 top end and start from there. Port and polish done from the factory, without spending $900 for that job IF you shop smart!

Read stickies. 3.4L has potential, just rob from FWD 3.4L v6s and you have good stuff for cheap from the factory parts bin....

The guy behind those stickies has 216hp/250tq out of his 3.4L. That's with the stock ECU and injectors, if memory serves correct. Legit dynoed 216 hp's.
