Okay....so let me put 2 and 2 together. I need the 3500 aluminum heads off of a Malibu or G6 (what years?). Also, I need to take the upper air intake off of that same car, along with the fuel rail.....correct? I'll use the stock cam from my 94 Camaro and swap out the pistons from the vehicle I took the heads from? What do I use for the lower air intake?

Lower intake must match the heads. The upper intake off the 3500 will work? I thought it was backwards. I have heard this talked about in many posts I have even seen threads where guys started it but I have yet to see anyone with a F body complete it. If someone could post a link that would be great.

Well logically you're right if you think about it. It would have to be backwards because it's front wheel drive. So really the only things that has to be established at this point are the pushrods (think those are supposed to be taken off a 3.1) and the
intake setup. Anybody got any answers on this......cause I looked through fullthrottlev6forums as well, and I can't find anything. I even registered and dropped a thread in there.........nothin yet.

Thanks for the help Gorn. You've given me a ton of advice since I began this project. Just for the record.....I sent the rear end off last week to get it rebuilt too. I've taken the opportunity to drop the tank to replace the NEW (from rock automotive) fuel sending unit that never worked right. Rock is mailing me a new one now. I'm also replacing all those old high pressure lines coming from the tank as well. This has been an awesome build so far. The engine response dynamics are incredible. If we could only get those aluminum heads mounted!

We really need to come together on this and figure out the right combination for the air intake. I'm actually building this motor in the garage, and will pull my old one and install this new one. Once the proper configuration is final, I think it would constitute a full blown procedure breakdown. Here goes nothin'!
