Default 1997 Camaro V6 3.8L misfire issue

Hey guys,
I have a 1997 camaro 3.8L V6. The check engine light is on showing a p0303 error code aka cylinder 3 misfire. I changed Plugs, plug wires, and fuel injector. the car runs GREAT except at the first few seconds u idle it at start and when coming to a stop. After i did the changes the light went off and i proceeded to run her to get emissions. as soon as i let her idle in the emission test center the light popped on and started flashing(reoccuring misfire is what that indicates i believe). needless to say it failed the test and frustrated the **** out of me. My question is this: other than a faulty coil pack what could it be. a faulty O2( if so how could it be only 1 cylinder), faulty ICM, or Cat converter?
Any help is greatly appreciated
P.S. sorry for starting a new thread on this couldn't find the old one.

Start at the plug and work back from there.

swap the coil for that plug with another and see if the misfire follows

My bet is on the coil pack, and yes, what Basic said.

Thanks for all the feedback, but after hours of frustration i took it for a compression check and it is a cracked exhaust valve on cylinder 3 =[ there goes 1000 dollars.
