I wouldn't think the ABS would do anything. Has the fuel pressure been tested? Any coolant in the oil? 3.4's are prone to head gasket failure.

well i checked everything over to find out i have a dead cylender... freakin awsome... trying to figure out what i want to do with it now... idk if putting a used motor in now would b cheaper than having the one i have now fixed.

dead cylinder becuase what? if no coolant got in oil then it may be cheaper to fix the motor you have, depends on what it is.

low compression in cylender one so its either a head issue or a ring issue

pull the heads off and see if head gasket is bad. lt1 swap is not an easy thing to do. need a doner car.

so i pulled the whole top end off n ill b honeset im a little confused... the gaskets all look fine... but the kicker is the exhaust valve on my dead cylinder is coated thickly with carbon build up... so i was thinking it was maybe a bad valve seat so i tipped my head so the combustion chamber was facing up n i filled it full of penetrating oil to see if it would leak out of my valve seats but nothing leaked... so idk what could b causing that build up and low compression in that cylinder... any ideas?

did you look over the intake gaskets to see if there was a leak there
