1995 Camaro 3.4L V6 Bogging out
The car starts fairly fine, it seems kinda slow start but not too bad. Once it starts though it starts bogging around 300 - 1000 rpms and sometimes stalls. This happens even while driving it sometimes when I go to brake and come to a stop aswell. The engine bay also tends to smoke a little but its just oil burning off from somewhere I believe it to be a bad head gasket or oil filter because the filter seems to be covered in oil, I haven't looked into that too much yet, just had to fix the trans and exhaust so I am now getting to the engine. The car accelerated good but its just when it gets to idle rpms that it'll bog out.
Naw, thats the weird thing. All this happening and not one single check engine light or anything. Also I have an OBD 2 code reader and it fails to link to the vehicle. Could it be OBD 1?
