17X9.5 Wheels

Default 17X9.5 Wheels

So I wanna get a new set of wheels and tires for my 95 3.4
The thing is, I dont wanna do 275 tires all the way around, I dont mind it in the rear though, what tire size will be fit for the front and will fit the rim?
I was thinking 255/45/17 with 275/40/17 in the back
or should i go 255/40/17 in the front so the sidewall length is the same for the front and bacK? a little confused here

Be sure to get the jounce/bump stop extender/spacer for 17" wheels...

No. It depends on the offset of your wheels. You may need an adjustable PHB. Most of the guys in my club have 17 or 18 and no one has needed a spacer.

i have 17x9.5 with a 245x40 tire in the front, no spacer, looks and workes great for me

I'm not sure about the offset on the stock, but the rims i'm gettin it's 54mm

Yes, if you want to keep the tire where it should be and not touching where it shouldn't... Camaros with 17" wheels from SLP came with them.

An adjustable PHB is only needed for lowering springs, and in that case, a Watt's Link is a better choice:

but its not needed, my cars dropped two inches and i didnt use the panhard i ordered, gm dealership by me realigned all four tires perfectly fine and tires are wareing properly
