'02 3.8L Best Airlid and TB Connection?
All, Is this really the only good option for the 3.8L for an airlid (apart from modifying the existing one, and copy-cat one from RKsport.com w/shorter stem)?

So does anyone make a nice smooth air bellows that adapts to the whisper motorsports lid? I want to remove the silly noise reduction baffles...
Oh, and Ron Paul ended his run see <http://campaignforliberty.org>, but Barr is the next best thing...

Yea, I ordered the SLP CAI (which when installed isn't visible) as well, but want to optimize the whole intake...
ORIGINAL: spisak
i went with a cold air intake, didnt notice much difference but it looks good and sounds even better

Well, I found that that on the 3.8s the Whisper Motorsports lid is better than RKSport's since the tube off the lid extends further allowing removal of the noise resonator. Which is obviously better than just smoothing out an existing lid. Whisper is near production again, so you should be able to find their lids again soon...
The SLP CAI with Whisper lid has to be the quickest and easiest way to get more power for the 3.8s... Similar to the SLP Flow-Pac on LS1s...

I noticed that too, Whisper Motorsports doesn't have any of their products available on some places like lmperformance.com. Do you know why they stopped production?
