Will a 95 tranny work in a 94 car both z28s both 4l60e's I know the 95 has a pwm and I know you cant put a 94 into a 95 because of that reason but can you put a 95 into a 94? Thanks

 

both should be 4l60e, only thing i can think of that may be different is the plugins so if you can check to see what shape and how many pins you have on the 94 and 95.

 

ohh no i went through this same issue with my 94 and the answer is no only a 94 trans will work the 95 will not lock up and youll burn the clutches up real quick but if all you can get is a 95 trans you can get the trans go hd2 reprogramming kit its basically designed so you can run a 95 trans in a 94 it costs about 70$ and took me about 1.5 hrs to install
