Default 3.4L Auto transmission issue need advice ASAP

AS the title reads I am having issues with my tranny. Off the line as I accelerate it seems to be very sluggish. This only happens when the motor is warm. When it is cold works great.

I found a tranny out of a 95 3.4l V6 automatic with 60k miles on it. The owner wants $300 for it. Does this seem fair?

Plus if I get that transmission do I need to get the flexplate and harmonic balancer as well?

I am in a big bind because this is my work car and it is dying quick!

Nevermind I found the answer needed about the swap..but does my symptom seem like a transmission on its last leg?

Slipping hot is a syptom of worn clutchs but I would pull the pan and see whats in there. Maybe take a picture. Install a new filter and put some new fliud in there. Even is the tranny is on it last leg it could bring it around and give you a few months of service.

Is there a way to change the converter oil as well? (Without removing the transmission) I think I have an issue with the converter, after I shut the car off I can hear something rattle. Similar to a bolt being dropped down an exhaust pipe. So realistic I pulled the exhaust and checked but nothing there. I have checked the flexplate bolts. All are accounted for and tight. I guess we will see what's in the pan as well.
