I have a 2002 z28 and I'm bottoming out way too much can I raise it to fix this or what else could I do?

 

pitures? what wheels and tires do you have? is it lowered?

 

well not using low profile tires ,an using like 18s could help these cars I know mine likes nice smooth roads no dirt roads no graval in the back air shocks could help, with taller tires ,otherwise you may be looking into modifiying to raise the car ,most guys want to drop the car ,if it was lowered at one time that could be it ,these cars are already very close to the ground ,like said mine never sees dirt or graval ,if you have ground effects ,they allways hit bottoming out ,I learn to know whear I may bottom out an slow it down ,bone stock suspention for now pictures allways helps

 

How old are the current springs? They may just need replaced with new ones. I had the same issue when going over train tracks or bumps. The rear would come up and smack where the bump stops should have been. New springs solved that issue fast.

 

As above, old springs and worn shocks will allow the car to bounce of the bump stops at every small bump. Also, an extra large butt parked inside the car will compress the springs so that the car will sag down very close to the bump stops.

 

Where did you get your springs? I have a terrible sag look in the rear i hate it and would love for it to be raised a little.

 

you can put a set of air shocks will help like $69.99 ,the least exspencive way ,,I did it to get better clearance for my true duals ,for me my springs were still good ,I am going to get oem style couse I don't want lowering springs ,for me its just a temp thing works good for now though as far as cost

 

Moog springs. I think they were $120 or something....been a few years.
