The solid axel in the F-body makes for a little harsher ride, you could change out the shocks and springs but going to a softer suspension will be tough because nobody really does this, thus parts will be hard to find. One option is to try different tires that less performance orientated.
JD1969 is right, the only way you're really gonna change your ride 'on a budget' is by getting more of a 'touring' tire. honestly though, if you are looking to make a Camaro ride softer, then maybe you just aren't meant for sportscars, either that or you need to step up to the next level so you get the top-shelf ride those cars give

Sell it and buy the 'vette. Beats buying a FORD of any kind. Seriously, Put a less harsh ( less lbs/inch ) rear spring and a new set of gas shocks all the way around and go with the less performance tire ( more like an H rating than a Z rating ) and it'll ride alot better.

Hey ALL,

I have a questionon my suspension, camaros have always had a bumpy ride but i was woundering what can i do to my susp. cuz every bump from a curb like coming into a drive way ect. my nose and rear drop and i can hear my engine guard and rear bottom out. What would you recommend for stuts, springs, and tires beacause hopefully it will riseup some where back to factory ride hight. And taking into consideration i have my camaro for AMERICAN MUSCLE #1 and 2 enjoying it as a cruiser so i dont need performance tires, but maybe a cross of something in between performance and a smooth ride.
Thanks all comments welcome!
