Thanks man, the pics make it look way better than it does. The clear coat is almost gone and it has some scratches in the paint. Will definitely have it repainted. She needs it. I also got some good Craigslist finds this week. I picked up a VFN raised SS hood for $275 and BMR LCA's for $70. All in all not a bad week

sounds good makeing progress allways feels better yes the ss hoods to me just make a car look more racey ,an at high speeds help get air under the hood ,actually the look for most cars i guess i can see why some put them on there stock 3800,an alot more do the z28 with an ss hood too .i seen a 3800 the other day wich i think is wrong not that they put an ss hood on it ,that they put ss badgeing ,an are calling it an ss clone .to me the right way to call something an ss clone is to have v8 engine an a look as close to ss as possible ,they were upset when i called them out on it ,i call mine an ss clone but i keep the z28 badgeing to though,an your building a hot rod so call it what you want ,i call mine the beast

Yup, it's a shop light. Not sure the brand, it was my friends who installed the cage. It came in handy, definitely going to pick one up for myself.

So I decided to start test fitting the interior pieces today and immediately ran into my first problem. The main hoop of the cage is a little too tight to slide the headliner in from the rear. It looks like I can slide it through the front if I remove the windshield, but I'm trying to avoid that if possible. So my question is, does anybody have any tips or trick in getting the headliner in or making your own headliner with a cage? Thanks in advance.
