After getting pulled over again for my tinted tails, I decided to just get some GTS covers for the stock lights that let enough light shine through and I can take them off at night if I need to. Picked these up off ebay for $15.

Also painted the mirrors body color.

Little late, but speaking on those headlight covers you had. I like both, but actually like the GTS Probeams better. I wouldn't mind having a set for mine. How do they mount up?

Looks great! getting pulled over for the taillights would get really, really old.

Any big plans/goals? Or just tinkering and picking up good deals for mods?

I want to get into the engine eventually. It's got almost 190k on it so I'm wanting to do a rebuild. Mild cam, nothing too wild as this is my DD. Headers, high flow cat, maybe a tune. My goal is reliability with a little fun added in. (stoplight to stoplight drags). I got a little disheartened talking to a buddy of mine with a LSI telling me how expensive it's going to be to have engine work done because you have to drop the thing out the bottom. He was saying over a $1000 just for a header install. I got about $2500 to put into it at this point and I'm thinking that is not going to get much so I need to save more and get it all done at once.

$1000 for the header install? Yeah sure if your taking it to dealer maybe(probably more), but you should be able to install headers yourself. Think you will have to jack the front of the car up and put it on jack stands(front and back if you want). Should give you enough room to stick them in.

You dnt have to drop it from the bottom but its a lot easier. You do the header install yourself it is not that difficult. You could get a lot accomplished With $2500 if u do the work yourself.

A grand for header install does seem pretty outrageous. You've done enough of the work yourself on the car to make me pretty sure you wouldn't be intimidated by it.

Sounds like fun plans, though. I'm sure you'll get it all done well.
