Well I haven't updated in quite a while. I rear ended a truck this past Sunday and broke my fender and kinked my new hood. I'm picking up new parts in the morning! Also going to paint the front clip this weekend! Here are pics of the damage after the accident. I hit him hard enough to lift his truck off the ground and it bent my frame where the fender bolts to. I swerved left to try and miss him but still clipped him doing about 25mph

I'm also going to buy all new 17" tires in a couple weeks. That way I have my LE wheels all the way around the car again. Anyways. The car will be back to its prior glory in about a month. My new job has me working 70 hour weeks at $11 an hour. Loving the money compared to my prior job working 30 hour weeks at $8 an hour lol. Oh an here's a mileage update! 223xxx and still climbing!

Oh and the story as to why I hit him... It was cruise night and he ha been piping me and flipping me off all night... I followed him to see if he would pull over so I could see what his problem was and he brake checked me. He had no brake lights. He came to a full stop and I ate him. After we hit, my friend an I jumped out and he took off. My friend ran after him with a jack handle so he left the scene o the accident. I also left a few minutes later after picking up pieces of my fender. We went to a friends house to buff off the primer paint and about an hour later I got pulled over by a police officer who asked me if I rear ended a truck earlier that night. I said no officer I hit a deer a few days ago. He bought it and I got off pretty damn good considering I bent his bumper, dented his bed, and broke his tail light. I left no paint on his truck thank god lol

What was wrong with the speedo? And what was the fix?

The wire between the speed sensor and the PCM was broke. Quick splice and it was fixed

The speedometer stayed at 0 constantly lol. Sucked when on the highway since you had to judge my other cars how fast you're going. Lol

If nobody's gonna say it, I am. You need to take it easy behind the wheel, dude. Every time you come and post in this thread about you hitting something or breaking something it's either because you were pissed off about something or you were being reckless (or in this case, a bit of both). So far it's just cost you a few hundred bucks in parts, insurance (most likely), and tickets, but you need to cool it before it costs you a lot more. In this case, the smart and responsible thing to do would have been to take down his license plate number (which should've been easy to do if you were following him) and report him. That way, he gets a ticket for the accident being his fault (if his brake lights indeed didn't work) and he pays for your car to get fixed.

Also, this is a public forum, where anybody on the internet can view your posts. So bragging about lying to a police officer probably isn't the best idea.

"No officer, I hit a deer". Man you must have some pretty dumb cops there. It's easy to tell that's not deer damage.

He knew I didn't hit a deer. All the cops in town know me and knew what really happened. I told him it was a deer for him to put on paper.
