Yeah Im in a population of like 3XXX, I raced a few people as well, my highschool buddy got a GT and of course he smoked me but I raced my friends 07' Tiburon and beat him (He was that "one spoiled kid" in highschool that got whatever he wanted) I'll start doing alot of racing once I get an LT1 or LS1

 

do you guys not have race tracks in your town? that just blows my mind

 

Not at all, I live in a really small town, there isnt even a track when I "go into town" (Corpus Christi is a major Texas city and they dont even have a track)

 

Nope. The closest 1/8 mile is 85 miles away and the nearest 1/4 mile is halfway across the state.

My nearest track is 20 mins away, but it sucks so bad that we unofficially changed the name from Capitol to Crapitol raceway.

So we do fun stuff on the street.

My favorite time of year: OC Cruisin weekend, where cops care more about burnouts than racing.

haha, I know a bunch of guys that go to crapitol, they all complain about that place.

to ill and chaotic, thats unreal, I grew up less than an hour from 3 tracks, I guess I'm spoiled

nope, there are a lot of 8 sec cars running around here, mostly race cars but also a few street cars that can really bring it, I'd say you need to be a 9.0 car or better to get in the top 20
