Wow. That's gotta be one of the cleanest V6s I've ever seen!

Thanks!

Yeah, It's been garaged since day one pretty much no matter what. With the projects I have going on between my Sonoma, Apache and the wife's 77 F100 I'm just in replacement part mode right now. Suspension is the next focal point. It'll go into storage over the winter so it's not sitting outside under a cover depending on what's in or out of the garage at our house.

Random Update:

Nothing to crazy going on with the car as of right now, been daily driving it since i killed the trans in the black truck, so the 4L60E is getting rebuilt with some Monster goods and I'll run it through winter while I hunt for a used crew cab 4wd diesel, preferably a manual truck, which may lead me to a cummins or powerstroke, but we'll see when that time comes.

Fresh oil change, wipers, serviced the rear end, wired in the LED 3rd brakelight, had a 5% tint strip put on the windshield finally, added the V6 brace and am collecting parts for the suspension overhaul. Thus far have Eibach's awaiting shocks and struts, new bumpstops for the rear, new rear lower arms and am getting ready to order the panhard bar and bolt on relocation brackets.

Really enjoying having the eurolamps housings with 9006's for the lowbeams now, although one of their bulbs already crapped on me so I replaced both with sylvania's. I'd like to do HID's but I'll not stick them in stock style housings so that may never happen.

lol! yeah, started off like normal, trans went to go into 2nd and pop "weeeeeeeeeee". Let off, still had 1st. I decided when I limped it to the gas station to try reverse and had none, Killed the sun shell and some other stuff. *sigh* I thought about doing the 4L80E conversion, but didn't want to entail the extra cost at this point with it. Would have loved for GM to put the 80's in the 1500 series trucks lol!

And 3rd brakelight, i like it all tying into together, granted it's a small detail, but still.

Nice! do you have the license plate bolts/LED pieces? I have just the single OEM location that I stuck an LED bulb from VLED's in. I will confess though that changing the 3rd brakelight was initially due to the tail covers and the signal assemblies being changed as well, the LED 3rd part was an added bonus.

I like how the rear of the car is looking. Black accents + white car = win. You should get black filler decals for the lettering too!

Also, that truck is sweet...if it runs haha

Thanks! I think when the bumpers get repainted I'll change the front bumper badge out for a black one too

And absolutely going to get the black filler decals now, didn't even think about it!

lol thanks, I enjoy the heck out of the truck, and it's certainly put in it's fair share of work, but now i realize how much easier daily stuff is with a truck (ie right now moving between two houses. eck!)

And on a random note, i noticed your location is not but 20 min from where i lived when I was real young (we moved to ky when i was 4). We lived in Oak Park @ the corner of Labelle ave.

My grandfather worked at and ran the Totem Pole on woodward for a ton of years too.
